The brand-new Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin opens this December
Exciting news for design lovers and dedicated skiers: Rosewood is finally debuting its first-ever winter resort—and it’s doing so in full glamour mode, right in the heart of glitzy Courchevel 1850. Set directly on the Jardin Alpin slopes, Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin opens this December, adding a fresh layer of polish to one of Europe’s most sought-after ski destinations.
With 22 properties worldwide, the opening of the Rosewood in Courchevel will mark the long-anticipated entry into high-altitude hospitality and continue her French expansion, after the success of Hôtel de Crillon, the brand’s Parisian flagship. Expect ski-in, ski-out access, a lively terrace with mountain panoramas, and interiors that feel more “private Alpine mansion” than classic chalet.

That was exactly the vision, according to designer Tristan Auer:
“We approached the project as though we were creating a private mansion chalet rather than a traditional hotel. The idea was to capture the glamour of the mountains while transporting guests into another world—a place where every space invites them to experience something beyond the expected.”
Inside, guests will find 51 rooms and suites, including three signature houses with expansive terraces overlooking Les Trois Vallées. The largest, the Jardin Alpin Apartment, comes with four bedrooms, a cinema room and generous indoor–outdoor dining spaces. All rooms feature marble bathrooms with wooden accents and a luxurious contemporary Alpine interior.
The hotel is now accepting reservations for stays from December onward.
